In the late 90s, during my middle school days, my friends and I used to get together at lunch and after school. Inspired by anime like Dragon Ball Z and video games like Street Fighter, we crafted edgy characters, with long winded backstories and wicked special moves that would rival our favorite cartoon characters. We even made up our own game system so that we could pit them against each other. While not very elaborate, it got the job done, and to this day it still inspires me.

Warriorz is the evolution of that childhood idea - a thrilling tabletop role-playing game that allows you to follow your character through epic battles and exhilarating story arcs.

The rules are simple, condensed into a single page to ensure you spend less time reading and more time immersed in your next duel.

Key Features:

  • Character Creation Unleashed: Customize your fighters, envision their stirring backstories, and bestow upon them an array of unique special moves.
  • Strategic Combat System: Engage in intense battles where each decision counts. Use your Moves to tactically, know when to focus on defense or go all in with speed, and anticipate your opponent's actions to claim victory.
  • Fluid Gameplay: Warriorz ensures the game's pace remains exhilarating. Rounds are swift and dynamic, keeping you on the edge of your seat.
  • Easy to Learn, Lifetime of Fun The game's accessible rules make it perfect for newcomers and veterans alike. But, through the Story Arc system and Match options, there is endless hours of entertainment to be had.

What is the gameplay like?

Battles are 1v1 so that portion plays like a card game/ turn base battle. These fights can be pretty quick unless you are running a tournament. The Story Arc portion is more of a collaborative RPG. You could treat it as a solo RPG but I think it's better when you include another player in it.

Thanks. Do you mean like a “Batlle” card game (cards with values) or like a Magic the Gathering card game (cards with rules on them).

Combat breaks down to one fighter choosing a move from their list to attack with, rolling to see if they hit, then their opponent choosing a move to defend with, rolling to see if they block/soak or deflect and counterattack.  Roles are reversed and you go back and forth until one of the fighters' Power Level hits 0.

Cool thanks!
