It's 2024 and I'm starting it off with a bang! Price for Life is the first multipage adventure for the Aclion Chronicles setting. Originally this was intended to be a submission for the Transformation Game jam 2023, however as I worked on the project, it continued to grow until I was unable to finish in time for the deadline. After that I set it aside to ruminate on it, eventually picking it back up last month and obsessively working on it through the holidays. I think the biggest revelation I had while working on this adventure was the over all style and design. I really love halftones, but I never felt like my art utilized it is the right way until I started working on the art for Price for Life. The limited color pallet also helped unify the project and I am really excited to get started on the next one because of it. I plan to make this project one of many this year!
