Misthaven, an other worldly adventure

I’m excited to announce the release of 'Misthaven', the second 1-page adventure in my Aclion Chronicles series. This adventure marked a new step forward for the series, as it is the first to take players beyond the borders of reality and into the mysterious Sea of Fog.

As I sat down to write this adventure, I found myself faced with a new challenge: how to convey the richness and depth of the Sea of Fog without writing volumes of lore. I knew that I wanted players to be able to experience the wonder and danger of this new plane, but I also wanted to keep the adventure contained on a single page.

After much contemplation and revisions, I finally found a way to strike a balance between providing enough information to set the scene and allowing players to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. I will no doubt revisit the Sea of Fog in the future, maybe even in a lore packet or something just so that I can have my unrestrained fun.

I'm thrilled with how 'Misthaven' turned out, and I'm excited to see where the series goes next. I've had so much fun writing these 1-page adventures, and I can't wait to see what other challenges and opportunities they bring. I am also looking forward to hearing feedback from players and how they experienced the adventure.
